With appliance repair, one likes to replace an old part with the same new one. Sometimes, that may not be feasible.
Last week I was working on a dishwasher with a stuck circulation pump. The pump situation got resolved, but then I had to reconnect, then reclamp, the pump back in the system.
The pump had been held by pinch clamps, but in my situation screw clamps were much easier. I bought a couple, then clamped the pump in place with them. I’ve run the dishwasher a few times now – no leaks so far.
